Artist

Bravo Enrico was born in Bassano del Grappa on 1935.
He studied at the "art institute of Nove" and he had as teacher Andrea Parini the most important ceramic artist of the that period.
After school, Enrico will work on his ceramic laboratory and will win many important prize.
But the artist continue to produce his particular pieces and paints with many successes:
On 1953 was invited to show his personal works in "Biennale of Venice".
On 1954 won the first prize of Comune di Nove.
On 1955 won the first prize of Comune di Bassano del Grappa.
On 1960 was invited to show in "Angelicum" of Milan and in "La Masa" of Venice.
Shows his paints in Assisi on 1974 and later in "Toleta" of Venice and in "S. Francesco" of Cittadella.
Enrico Bravo artist is also present and quoted in art catalogues as "Il Miliardo" and "Eco d'Arte".
Many times Enrico was introduced by famous art critics as Bino Rebellato, Ugo Fasolo, Giorgio Segato, Ida Ricci Curbastro, Gino Nogara, Alberto Frasson, Gemma Fortini and S.Bencivenga.

Armonie senza "direzione" sono le grandi maioliche di Bravo: quasi sempre non c'è neppure un disegno o un progetto di base e l'opera cresce nel movimento delle mani che consegnano il dettato di un occhio allenato alle forme e tutto rivolto alla contemplazione di moti interiori, di emozioni archetipe emergenti. Non c'è modello, nè plastico nè pittorico, e neppure c'è una meta prefissata o un punto di approdo previsto. In questa libertà, consentita solo a chi conosce tutti i segreti del mestiere, Bravo riscatta la sua manualità artistica e la eleva a compiuta proposizione estetica.
